We are seeking a Trading Analyst for our New York office with proficient Python coding skills and a track record of collaborative work within development teams. A genuine interest in HFT, market making, and crypto trading is essential as you work alongside traders to enhance and broaden trading activities across different markets and strategies. This role offers a high degree of cross-functionality, providing exposure to various facets of the business and the chance to learn directly from traders while collaborating with developers to enhance infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the rollout of trading for new instruments.
- Create, implement, and deploy automated infrastructure and tools to optimize trading processes.
- Provide support by troubleshooting and debugging live trading systems, rectifying system errors promptly.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations that offer insights and actionable market information for traders.
- Oversee service deployments to ensure reliable operation within defined performance parameters.
- Conduct trade reconciliation to verify the accuracy of trade economics and settlement agreements.
Hard Skills Requirements
- Proficiency in Python: extensive experience in collaborative Python coding environments is crucial.
- While fresh graduates are welcome, experienced individuals from analytical roles or software development backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Trading knowledge is not obligatory, but a strong desire to learn algorithmic, high-frequency, quantitative, and market-making trading is essential.
- Familiarity with DeFi and Blockchain concepts is advantageous.
