Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Java 8+, Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs, SQL, and MS SQL/MySQL databases.
  • Candidate should have 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise Java applications with at least 2 years in a lead role.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade backend applications and services.
  • Strong understanding and practical implementation of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts, design patterns, and coding best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Solid experience working with relational databases, query optimisation, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with tools and technologies such as Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting and production support environments.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and programming fundamentals.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Good understanding of application security, scalability, and performance optimisation.
  • An understanding of financial markets and various financial instruments is an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit are required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
