Senior Java Developer - Python

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong Python experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and applications. The role requires hands-on development in Java and Python, with ownership of APIs, automation, performance, and production support across cloud-based environments. Python is expected to be a strong working language, not just a scripting add-on.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, scalable, testable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.
• Develop automation, utility scripts, and service components in Python where needed.
• Work on performance tuning, debugging, root cause analysis, and production support.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment readiness, and release support.
• Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices and take ownership of deliverables end to end.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, preferably Java 8+ or later.
• Strong experience in Python for backend development, scripting, automation, or service development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or similar Java frameworks.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, or Python test frameworks.
