Wissen Technology is seeking an experienced Java Developer with 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, microservices architecture, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
  • Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Messaging Systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and system design.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech domains.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
