Minimum qualifications:
- Experience managing a team of Solutions Engineers focused on large enterprise or growth accounts.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Cloud security experience and background or experience in network engineering.
- Knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, containers, and risk-based security assessments or frameworks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Technical SaaS selling experience.
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools and/or cloud infrastructure security.
- Awareness of the CI/CD process and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys.
About the job:
We’re looking for a Manager, Solutions Engineering based in Sydney to join us in spreading the power of Wiz. In this role, you will work alongside a team of Wizards that focus on understanding the technical business needs of our customers around the world, with a specific focus on covering Australia Growth and Enterprise accounts. We are passionate about technical sales and helping our customers achieve maximum value from our solution. We believe this all starts with a team effort working very closely with all resources available at Wiz.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, retain, develop, and coach a team of regionally focused, skilled Solutions Engineers.
- Partner with the regionally-based sales director to develop strong working relationships with account teams covering Australia Growth and Enterprise accounts.
- Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
- Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce.
- Thrive as a technical leader of the team, performing team leadership while also getting your hands directly into the technology.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to your customers for all things related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time (primarily within Australia to support accounts).
