About the Opportunity
Magellan is transforming customer relationships through generative AI.
Multi-agent architectures are no longer science fiction: they already handle millions of customer interactions (voice, email, chat, social media), automatically processing simple cases and intelligently escalating complex ones to human advisors.
In this fast-evolving environment, we are building a new Agentic AI platform designed to orchestrate agentic processes across our existing solutions. This platform will extend our current capabilities to deliver true multichannel orchestration (voice, chat, email) and to augment our solutions with automation and intelligence that simplify and enhance customer relationship management.
To support this strategic ambition, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner to help structure and drive the delivery of this platform. This is a key role for a product professional who combines strong agile delivery skills with a genuine curiosity for AI and agentic technologies, and who wants to contribute to shaping a product still in its launch phase.
Your Responsibilities
As Product Owner, you will play a central role in the day-to-day delivery of our orchestration solution, working hand in hand with the Product Manager, the UX Designer, the Lead Developer, and the Architect, and a team of four developers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Owning the implementation of the product roadmap defined with the Product Manager, and ensuring its translation into concrete, well-prioritized deliverables.
- Writing clear and structured functional specifications in Confluence, aligned with product vision, UX design, and technical constraints.
- Breaking down features into user stories in Jira, with well-defined acceptance criteria, dependencies, and priorities.
- Animating agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, estimation sessions, sprint planning, reviews, and demonstrations.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the development team on functional topics, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum.
- Collaborating closely with the UX Designer to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience across the platform.
- Working with the Lead Developer and Architect to ensure functional requirements are technically sound, feasible, and aligned with the platform's long-term evolution.
- Contributing to the preparation and delivery of customer-facing demonstrations, showcasing the value of our agentic capabilities.
- Ensuring traceability, documentation, and quality of the product backlog throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of the team's agile practices and delivery efficiency.
- Bringing structure and clarity to a product in its early stages, helping to shape ways of working, rituals, and delivery standards.
Your Profile
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who is structured, pragmatic, and energized by the opportunity to contribute to a product in its launch phase on cutting-edge agentic topics.
More specifically:
- You have solid experience as a Product Owner, ideally 3 to 5 years, in agile delivery environments.
- You have a strong command of agile methodologies and ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches).
- You are highly proficient with Jira and Confluence, and you know how to structure a backlog and product documentation that scale.
- You are comfortable writing clear, structured, and actionable functional specifications.
- You know how to break down complex topics into well-scoped user stories with meaningful acceptance criteria.
- You are a strong communicator, capable of aligning developers, designers, product managers, and technical leads around a shared understanding.
- You demonstrate rigor, ownership, and autonomy in managing your scope.
- Experience or knowledge in customer relationship management (contact center, CRM, customer service platforms) is a strong plus.
- No prior experience in AI or agentic technologies is required, but genuine curiosity and interest for these topics is essential.
- Familiarity with n8n or other workflow automation tools is a plus.
- Experience in augmenting your own work with AI tools is a plus and reflects the mindset we value.
- You enjoy contributing to customer demonstrations and translating product capabilities into compelling narratives.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English.
