The opportunity
We are looking for a Team Lead to join our Merchant Services Customer Onboarding team. Based in Poland, you will lead a team of 12 onboarding agents split across Poland (9 agents) and France (3 agents), supporting merchants using our Axis in-store and GoPay ecommerce platforms. This role involves regular travel to France to ensure strong alignment and collaboration across both locations.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a 12-person onboarding team split across Poland and France, ensuring consistent performance and engagement.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for merchants using In-store and eCommerce platforms.
- Monitor team KPIs and onboarding quality, identifying areas for process improvement.
- Act as the key point of contact between the Poland and France teams, including regular on-site visits to France to align priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Support) to streamline onboarding workflows and resolve escalations.
Who are we looking for

- At least, 5 years of proven experience in a team management or leadership role, ideally within a customer-facing team
- Mandatory technical background, including working knowledge of Linux, Python, and SQL
- Experience in the payments domain or within a software company
- Fluent in Polish and English; French language skills are a strong plus
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities across multiple sites (Poland and France)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset
