What does a Digital Project Manager do at WPP Production?

As a Digital Project Manager, you will sit at the intersection of clients, creative teams, and technology, ensuring that complex digital projects are delivered successfully, on time, within budget, and aligned to client expectations across global markets.

You will lead end-to-end delivery of web, mobile, CMS, and localization projects while coordinating with globally distributed teams, stakeholders, and third-party partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of web applications, mobile applications, and CMS-based website projects.
• Partner with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
• Deliver large-scale global master website and localization projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate globally distributed project teams and ensure alignment on objectives and priorities.
• Facilitate project planning, status reporting, stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.
• Work closely with development, creative, QA, and content teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, and Office 365.
• Support content migration, content management, and content loading activities within CMS platforms.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, accessibility guidelines, and client expectations.
• Drive Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies and best practices.
• Identify and proactively mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Manage client relationships and provide excellent client servicing throughout project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of project management and client servicing experience within digital delivery environments.
• Proven experience delivering web applications, mobile applications, and CMS-based website projects.
• Strong experience working within complex digital ecosystems and decoupled technology environments.
• Experience collaborating with third-party agencies and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) and CRM platforms.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and/or Drupal is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Smartsheet, and MS Project.
• Experience managing large-scale global website rollouts and localization projects.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and testing processes.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and digital compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for digital technologies, online platforms, and emerging digital trends.

• Apply Scrum and Agile methodologies to improve project delivery and team collaboration.

• Build trusted client relationships and manage client expectations throughout delivery.

Organization & Planning

• Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of execution.

Nice to Have

• Cross-office and international project management experience.
• Experience working within large digital or creative agencies.
• Copywriting and technical documentation experience.
• Test management and QA execution experience.
• Experience managing mobile application builds and releases.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and reporting dashboards.
• Experience delivering CRM integration projects.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within large digital, marketing, creative production, or advertising agencies.
• Experience supporting global enterprise clients and large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Proven success managing global accounts and multi-market digital delivery engagements.
