Freelance QA

Job Responsibilities

• Test functionality and review visual elements of small- and large-scale interactive deliverables
• Document and facilitate communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, changes
• Validate and close-out all issues prior to client delivery
• Responsible for website, banner, and web application testing, including functional testing, test case execution, and defect reporting to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with other QA staff to accomplish all daily QA tasks on time with a high level of quality
• Develop process to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible
• Investigate procedures, workflows, and software to keep our processes up to date
• Assist with internal project kick-offs and requirements/specs gathering
• Plan and document the testing effort via test plans and test cases for mid-level to larger-scale projects
• Demonstrated ability to creatively and proactively solve problems
• Experience working on web-based interactive projects and mobile apps
• Must be a team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
• Proven written and verbal communication skills

Job Requirements

Must have:

• 2+ years of Testing experience in Website or Functional testing
• Any Defect Management tool e.g. JIRA, ALM and Bugzilla
• SQL - Intermediate level
• Agile ( Scrum ) / Waterfall experience
• Excellent communication and writing skill
• Flexible to work in various shift as per project requirement
