Role:  Group Head - Experience Designer (UX)

Reporting to:  Chief Experience Officer 

Location: Andheri, Mumbai 

Key Responsibilities:

Experience Design UX is responsible for planning and executing multiple projects/ accounts. In this role, you will be part of the experience design team(s) - UX and will develop solutions that meet the overall project and account goals.

• Drive a strategic and conceptual vision across multiple platforms.  
• Collaborate with experience strategy and UI and UX Lead to define the experience based on human-centered needs and client goals and objectives. Keeper of strong design processes and methodologies.  
• Facilitate design thinking workshops with clients and interpret artifacts into business and user needs 
• Guide designers to define and design - diverge and converge ideas. 
• Mentor junior UX designers, visual designers, and content writers to execute design vision.  
• Partner with project management and front client conversations from a variety of industries. Experience in BFSI, FMCG, and Automotive is a plus. 
• Study industry trends and experience design practices. 

Skills and Competencies 

• 5 - 7 Years of industry experience, with emphasis on human-centered design. 
• Experience in user-centered design methods and techniques. 
• Experience in UX design, design systems, component libraries, pixels and interface design for mobile / web - responsive/native design and platform-based solutions. 
• Ecommerce experience is preferred 
• Digital agency experience and background preferred. 
• Experience working on and leading multiple projects simultaneously across large cross-discipline agile teams. 
• Ability to distil complex ideas into simple concepts, defend the work, and be the expert in the room. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills. 
• Strong experience design strategy skills and an eye for compelling visual storytelling 
• Able to find creative ways to get things done effectively and collaboratively. 
• Proficient with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, In Vision, Miro for designing and prototyping solutions. 
• Open and curious to learn and grow skills in other areas of design. 
• Continuous learner of new things, promoting it, using it and finding new tools for effective implementation.
• Bonus points for additional design capabilities and interests - Org design / Culture design, Service Design, EX, Circular design, Sustainability, Graphic design, etc.
