Student Assistant - FWS

Working with the Office of Financial Aid to provide support to the Client Services Teams.

Duties and Responsibilities may include:

• Aid in the staffing of the Office of Financial Aid front desk. Provide an excellent level of customer service while maintaining professional interaction.
• Aid in the staffing of the Office of Financial Aid Call Center. Provide an excellent level of customer service while maintaining professional interaction.
• Greet students, parents, and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist with basic questions about FAFSA, scholarships, and deadlines (refer complex issues to advisors).
• Explain and aid students and parents regarding financial aid processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Perform general clerical duties and special projects as assigned.

Position details: Work schedule - Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm and potential additional daytime hours

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual. Candidate must demonstrate general office skills.
