Purchasing Accountant

- Review purchase orders and reconcile them with approved purchase requisitions, agreed-upon prices, and payment terms.
• Monitor supplier payment schedules, advance payments, and outstanding balances.
• Calculate and allocate landed costs for imported materials, including freight, customs duties, and clearance charges.
• Coordinate with the procurement, warehouse, and quality departments regarding received quantities and return processes.
• Apply withholding tax to supplier payments and prepare related reports.
• Issue and track electronic invoices in compliance with the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA) requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce – Accounting Department.
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing accounting or Accounts Payable, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing company.

- Practical experience using ERP systems for purchasing and inventory management.
- Good at Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- Good knowledge of Value Added Tax (VAT) processes and Withholding Tax processes
- Good in written and spoken English for communication and correspondence with foreign suppliers.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills.
- For male candidates: Completion of, or exemption from, military service is required.
