Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities to support global business requirements.
• Establish a competitive, qualified, sustainable, and risk-balanced supply base.
• Drive sourcing decisions aligned with cost, supply continuity, quality, compliance, and sustainability objectives.

2. Category & Spend Management

• Develop category strategy for spend, including supplier segmentation, regional sourcing options, and dual-source roadmap.
• Manage commodity spend visibility, savings pipeline, and supplier competitiveness across the assigned raw material portfolio.

3. Cost Management

• Monitor price trends, index movement, inflation drivers, tariffs, capacity signals, and supply-demand changes.
• Lead RFQ, benchmarking, cost breakdown analysis, should-cost modeling, and supplier negotiations to deliver cost reduction and cost avoidance.

4. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier reviews and drive improvement plans covering cost, quality, delivery, responsiveness, innovation, compliance, and risk.

5. Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to material availability, allocation, lead time, geopolitical exposure, financial stability, export control, sanctions, forced labor compliance, and environmental requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, sourcing governance, contract requirements, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory obligations.

6. Project & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with engineering, quality, manufacturing, planning, finance, legal, compliance, and regional sourcing stakeholders.
• Drive execution discipline with clear ownership, timelines, measurable outcomes, and proactive escalation.

7. AI & Data-Driven

• Utilize data analytics, dashboards, market intelligence, and AI-enabled tools to improve cost modeling, supplier performance tracking, savings management, and risk identification.

8. NPI & Business Transformation Support

• Support New Product Introduction, supplier transitions, localization, alternate sourcing, and cost management initiatives through strong program coordination.

9. Contract & Governance Management

• Lead commercial negotiations and support supplier agreements, pricing frameworks, escalation mechanisms, compliance controls, and ethical sourcing governance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or related field.
• 8+ years in Global strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or supply chain leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of material cost drivers, market dynamics, index-based pricing, contract structures, and supplier cost breakdowns
• Proven experience operating in a matrix, cross-regional organization
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across cultures and functions
• Experience with data analytics and digital/AI tools, including cost modeling, market dashboards, supplier performance tracking, and risk monitoring
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability, and supplier governance discipline
• Strategic thinking with structured problem-solving approach
• High level of accountability, adaptability, and learning agility
• Fluent in English; Mandarin capability is a plus for supplier engagement in Asia
• High business code of conduct compliance record
