Overview:

The Tax Process Analyst plays a key role in driving tax technology and transformation initiatives by supporting process standardization, system integration, and operational improvements across Tax, Finance, and IT. This role is responsible for documenting end-to-end processes, enabling efficient transitions, and supporting automation and system enhancements to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable tax operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Support tax transformation initiatives through process analysis, documentation, and implementation
  • Develop, document, and maintain end-to-end process flows, SOPs, and work instructions to ensure operational consistency and sustainability
  • Assist in ERP and tax system implementations by gathering business requirements, performing impact analysis, and supporting testing activities
  • Facilitate the transition of tax compliance processes from external providers to in-house operations, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize workflows and improve efficiency, accuracy, and control
  • Identify opportunities for automation and support implementation using tools such as RPA and reporting platforms
  • Validate and analyze tax data across systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with reporting requirements
  • Support project coordination activities, including tracking timelines, risks, and deliverables across multiple initiatives
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and post-implementation monitoring
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of transformation initiatives
  • Support training and knowledge sharing within the team to strengthen overall capability
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Operational Management, or a related field
  • CPA or relevant certification is an advantage
  • 3-5 years of experience in tax operations, process improvement, or finance systems
  • Experience in process documentation, workflow design, or continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong exposure to ERP systems or finance technology tools such as SAP or similar platforms
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and experience supporting transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and structured process documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement
