The Dixon Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler/Expeditor to join our Dixon Specialty Products team! In this role, you will play a critical part in keeping our manufacturing operations running smoothly-balancing customer demand, production capacity, and material availability to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a professional with experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and working with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do:
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and operational priorities.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to align schedules with capacity and demand.
- Monitor production progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or constraints.
- Create and maintain factory orders, routings, and production documentation.
- Analyze material availability and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to domestic and international vendors, ensuring timely acknowledgment.
- Maintain vendor pricing and support supply chain accuracy.
- Utilize scheduling and ERP systems to track timelines, status, and performance metrics.
- Prepare production and scheduling reports for management review.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards, and perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Provide back-up support to front desk operations as needed (including phone and visitor reception).
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in production scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency with scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills are required).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
