Battery Test Engineer

As a full-scope provider in the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) industry, REAP Battery delivers innovative and sustainable energy solutions to domestic and international customers through its strong capabilities in design, engineering, and manufacturing.

As part of our growing organization, we are looking for a Battery Test Engineer who will be responsible for the validation, performance, and safety testing of battery modules, battery packs, and energy storage systems.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field,

· Preferably at least 2 years of experience in battery technologies, energy storage systems, automotive, electronics, or test engineering,

· Knowledge of battery testing systems, power electronics, and measurement equipment,

· Experience with electrical performance, environmental durability, and safety testing,

· Ability to prepare and execute test plans, procedures, and reporting activities,

· Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills,

· Proficiency in the use of test equipment, data acquisition systems, and laboratory instruments,

· Proficient in MS Office applications,

· Preferably familiar with Python, MATLAB, or similar technical analysis tools,

· Strong technical documentation and reporting skills,

· Excellent communication skills with a collaborative and team-oriented approach,

· Good command of English is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Plan and execute testing activities for battery cells, battery modules, battery packs, and energy storage systems,

· Perform charge-discharge, capacity, cycle life, performance, and safety tests,

· Analyze test results and prepare performance evaluations and technical reports,

· Conduct product validation and product acceptance testing activities,

· Prepare, update, and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation,

· Ensure the safe and proper use of laboratory and testing equipment,

· Conduct root cause analyses for non-conformities and develop improvement recommendations,

· Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support product development activities,

· Ensure testing processes comply with applicable national and international standards,

· Maintain laboratory organization, equipment calibration schedules, and testing records.
