Job Purpose: -
Play a lead role in managing and delivery services as per customer &/or contractual requirements, while living on Yokogawa reputation and to meet Accelerated Growth target.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Deliver Yokogawa Technical Support Department (TSD) commitments to our customers. Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring process up-time and system performance as per contractual agreement with the customer, as per assignment. Participate in add-on / expansion service projects during Engineering phase, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning phases as required. Need to carry out Preventive and corrective maintenance of the Yokogawa’s portfolio of products, carry out Hardware and software upgrades. Depending on business requirement, role can be on-shore or off-shore, short duration or long duration (e.g. resident site support engineer) and provide overall on-site leadership. 24 x 7 on call emergency support, as per assignment. Directs the activities of other on-site Yokogawa personnel in the resolution of system problems and/or the startup and commissioning efforts. Submits weekly reports to Service management per need, e.g. regarding startup efforts, punch list items, assistance required from management and/or the resolution of system level problems. Provides a high order of troubleshooting and consultation support to field personnel on complex systems problems within his or her field of specialization. Support any and all the Service dept. activities as assigned by Department Management &/or Reporting Manager.
Qualification and Experience
Preferably Graduate Degree in Engineering - in Field of Control Systems / Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics. Minimum 7 to 8+ years’ experience in the Maintenance/Startup of Control System / Experience in DCS CentumVP /ESD Prosafe systems- particularly in Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals as well as filed instruments. ESD - TUV / DOFS certification. Experience in Stardom/ FastTools/CI Server
- Development of RTU STARDOM Logics, DNP3 Protocal, Troubleshooting, Migration, Testing and debugging of logics
- Experience in Upgrade of Stardom Controllers, UGS2 -STARDOM Integration
- Installation, development of static and dynamic FastTool Scada screens, customized faceplates, tuning window
- Interface between Stardom and FastTool SCADA
Required Competencies / skills
High on commitment & ownership of assigned tasks with Pro Active approach, Speed & Quality of work Good customer handling capabilities Should be self-initiator to learn new things and creative in problem solving approach. Very good at with communication (good written and verbal skills) + Good listener too.
