Job Description: Technical Program Manager

As a Technical Program Manager at YouTrip, you'll help our engineering organization deliver complex, cross-team programs that power payments for millions of customers and businesses across Asia Pacific. You'll bring structure to large initiatives that span mobile, backend, infrastructure, risk, and compliance. You'll turn ambiguous goals into clear roadmaps, keep teams across India and the region aligned, and make sure critical launches ship on time, safely, and at the quality our customers expect from a financial product.

You'll also help raise the bar for how engineering works at YouTrip by driving shared standards, better delivery processes, and the tools and practices that help teams move faster with confidence. This role needs a strong mix of technical understanding and people skills, so you can earn the trust of engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike.

Technical Program Management at YouTrip sits within our engineering organization and plays a key role in helping teams across India and the region deliver as one. TPMs are experienced technologists who create clarity, make sure we focus on the right priorities, drive execution, and manage risk on programs that depend on strong cross-team collaboration. You'll be joining a growing India team at an important stage, with real influence over how we build and scale.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex, technical programs at once, such as new market launches, card and payment network integrations, platform migrations, and regulatory or security initiatives.
• Work with engineering, product, design, QA, risk, compliance, and operations teams to define scope, requirements, milestones, and ownership.
• Build roadmaps that balance near-term deliverables with the longer-term technical direction of each program.
• Track progress, surface blockers early, and resolve cross-team dependencies across India and regional teams in Singapore and other markets.
• Anticipate risks across teams and systems, and put mitigation and contingency plans in place before they affect customers or deadlines.
• Use metrics throughout the program lifecycle (delivery health, quality, reliability, and business outcomes) so decisions are grounded in data.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels, from engineering teams to senior leadership, through status updates, reviews, and presentations.
• Coordinate release planning for mobile (Android and iOS) and backend services, including launch readiness, rollouts, and post-launch reviews.
• Drive improvements to engineering processes, such as planning cadences, incident follow-ups, documentation standards, and delivery tooling.
• Help teams work well together by building a collaborative, accountable, and enjoyable program culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology, including at least 4 years as a Technical Program Manager, engineering manager, or in a similar delivery leadership role.
• A background as a software engineer or in a closely related technical role, with the ability to follow system design discussions and spot edge cases and risks in technical specs.
• Working knowledge of several technology areas, such as mobile development, backend and distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, data, or security, and the ability to pick up new ones quickly.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments is a strong plus.
• Proven success delivering large programs across multiple teams, time zones, and locations.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a habit of creating clarity: you make sure goals, owners, dependencies, and risks are understood by everyone involved.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong relationship-building skills: you know how to align people with different priorities, make sure every voice is heard, and gain commitment to a shared plan.
• A focus on outcomes over activity: you prioritize by impact, think strategically, and are still willing to dig into details to help the team deliver.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices, OKRs, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, CSM, SAFe) are a plus but not required.
