Global Content & Communications Manager

Your role:

Zanders is a global consulting firm in treasury and risk management. Our consultants advise corporates, financial institutions and public-sector organisations on the problems that keep their CFOs awake, and they know that subject matter better than almost anyone. What that expertise needs is a voice; someone who turns it into press releases, articles, case studies and campaigns that reach the right audience in the right channel. That is this role.

You own content and communications globally, across the whole channel mix: press and public relations, blogs and thought leadership, email newsletters, client case studies and whitepapers, website content, translations and social media. You will not write all of it yourself. You set the content strategy, run the process that keeps it moving, and coordinate the internal and external contributors: consultants, designers, copywriters, translators, and AI tools who produce it with you. You work alongside the Events and Digital pillars and report to the Senior Manager Marketing Operations.

This is a role for someone who is comfortable being the person the business consults before it publishes. You will use campaign and content performance data to advise the business on what is landing and where the next investment should go, rather than reporting numbers after the fact.

Your background will be in content marketing or corporate communications, ideally in B2B professional services, technology or financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and implement a global content strategy aligned to company goals, with consistent brand and messaging across every channel.

• Develop and run public relations activity: company updates, achievements and key announcements, and manage press relationships.

• Work with partners and consultants to turn their expertise into press releases, interviews, articles and thought leadership.

• Produce and commission blog and whitepapers grounded in industry trends, market developments and competitor insight.

• Manage and optimise website content for relevance and search visibility.

• Own the social media content calendar, with clear timelines, deliverables and accountable contributors.

• Develop client case studies in partnership with client-facing teams.

• Manage translation and localisation so content works across the markets where Zanders operates.

• Partner with the Events and Digital pillars and with cross-functional teams to support campaigns and launches.

• Coordinate internal and external contributors (writers, designers, translators and agencies) and manage the review and approval cycle.

• Track content and channel performance, and advise the business on what is working and where to invest next.

• Keep the content process transparent and well governed, maintaining the standards, templates and editorial calendar the wider team works to.

• Share editorial and communications expertise across the marketing team and the offices, and contribute to internal initiatives.

Skills to be successful:

Essential:

• Five or more years in content marketing or corporate communications, in B2B professional services, technology or financial services.

• A track record of building and running content and communications programmes end to end, not only executing briefs.

• Strong editorial judgement in English, and the ability to make specialist subject matter readable without losing its substance.

• Confident working with senior stakeholders - drawing expertise out of busy experts and holding a review cycle to deadline.

• Comfortable using content and campaign performance data to shape decisions and to make the case for them.

• Experience coordinating external vendors such as agencies, copywriters, designers or translators, and AI tools.

Also valuable:

• Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform.

• Press and media relations experience, including handling inbound press enquiries.

• Working knowledge of SEO and website content management, ideally WordPress.

• Experience running content across multiple countries and languages.

• Familiarity with treasury, risk management or financial services as a subject area.

• A degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
