Required Skills and Experience  

• Master or PhD degree in mathematics, physics, mathematical statistics, financial mathematics, actuarial sciences, econometrics, computer science or engineering; 

• 3+ years of experience in the field of credit risk within financial institutions or consulting firms; 

• Deep knowledge of Credit Risk modelling, including A-IRB, and/or IRFS 9 models; 

• Familiarity with current market practices, machine learning, AI and regulations such as CRD, CRR, and EBA Guidelines, and emerging industry trends; 

• Strong interest in developing, designing and performing the quantification of risk, as well as affinity with financial markets; 

• Solid programming skills in Python, R or SQL; 

• Strong communication skills (spoken and written) in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage;

Your Role  

As part of the Risk Advisory Group (RAG), alongside our consultants in various locations, you will focus on client projects in financial risk management, risk data and analytics. Key responsibilities include: 

• Support clients in developing, validating risk models and/or reviewing risk frameworks for financial and/or non-financial risks;  

• Use programming languages for quantitative analysis (e.g. applying econometric, machine learning and AI techniques), model development or model validation; 

• Review how clients currently use financial technology, identify best practice improvements, and implement those changes; 

• Manage the project successfully and align with client expectations; 

• Advance the project work by completing assigned tasks, providing client support in a timely manner and presenting analytical reports to senior colleagues or clients;
