HRBP Lead

Main tasks

• Strategic HR Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted partner to the XRX China leadership team and maintain close alignment with XRX Global HR and business leadership.
  • Translate the China XRX business strategy and growth plans into clear organization, workforce and talent priorities.
  • Provide evidence-based people insights, challenge assumptions constructively and support leadership decision-making in a fast-changing environment.
  • Build an integrated HRBP approach across the XRX end-to-end value chain while balancing local business needs and global direction.
• Organizational Development and Effectiveness
  • Lead organization diagnosis, organization design, role and accountability clarification, governance design and cross-functional collaboration improvements.
  • Support business units in organizational design and change management, ensuring smooth implementation and enhanced organizational effectiveness.
  • Support the evolution of XRX from build-up to scalable operations, with streamlined structures, clear decision rights and agile ways of working.
  • Enable a startup-oriented culture of speed, experimentation, accountability and learning while maintaining compliance and operational discipline.
  • Provide organizational health analysis and assist business units with long-term development strategies.
• Change Management
  • Lead or support key change initiatives, develop change plans, and drive implementation.
  • Facilitate change through effective communication and cultural alignment, helping business units navigate challenges during transitions.
  • Monitor change progress and provide timely feedback and solutions.
• Workforce Planning and Talent Management and Development
  • Lead strategic and operational workforce planning based on business scenarios, capability needs, organization design and labor-cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement talent development plans, including succession planning and leadership development.
  • Identify critical talent needs and drive strategies for talent attraction, retention, and development.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize talent management decisions.
• Team and Stakeholder Leadership
  • Build, lead and develop a capable China XRX HRBP team with clear accountabilities and strong business orientation.
  • Create effective collaboration across COM China HR, XRX Global HR and the whole HR community.
  • Model inclusive leadership, constructive challenge, ownership, transparency and collaboration across the matrix organization.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
• Work Experience:
  • Typically 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience as a HRBP leader in a multinational or complex matrix organization.
  • Background in consulting firms or XR industries /top electronics (OEM) companies is preferred.
• Professional Skills:
  • Experience supporting new business, scale-up, technology, advanced manufacturingor other innovation-driven environments is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OD theories and practices, including organizational design, change management, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with talent management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Proficient in data analysis and capable of driving decisions through data insights.
• Personal Competencies:
  • Exceptional coordination skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects.
  • Strong business and people acumen, able to quickly understand business needs and provide solutions.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to build trust with senior management.
• Language Skills:
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
