ESaaS - MSD -Technical- D365 CE Developer Associate

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Marketing Developer with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys (formerly Dynamics 365 Marketing) to design, develop, configure and support marketing automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in customer journeys, real-time marketing, segmentation, event management, lead management, customer data integration and extending D365 Marketing using Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure and custom development technologies.

The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, marketing teams, solution architects and CRM developers to deliver scalable, customer-centric marketing solutions that drive engagement, lead generation and customer retention.

Marketing Automation Development

• Design and develop end-to-end customer journeys using Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys.
• Configure real-time and outbound marketing campaigns.
• Build automated customer engagement workflows based on business requirements.
• Develop lead nurturing, lead scoring and customer engagement strategies.
• Configure subscription centres, preference centres and consent management.

Segmentation & Customer Data Management

• Create dynamic, static and behavioural segments.
• Configure customer profiles and enrich customer data.
• Design customer lifecycle journeys using engagement and interaction data.
• Implement audience targeting and personalisation strategies.

Email & Communication Development

• Design and build responsive marketing emails and templates.
• Configure dynamic content and personalisation tokens.
• Develop SMS, Push Notification and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and marketing consent requirements.

Event Management

• Configure webinars, events, registrations and attendee management.
• Implement event-triggered communications and reminders.
• Integrate external event platforms such as Teams, Zoom or third-party systems.

Custom Development

• Develop custom plugins, workflows and APIs to extend D365 Marketing capabilities.
• Build JavaScript, C#, Power Automate and Azure integrations.
• Create custom Dataverse tables and business processes.
• Implement custom customer triggers and event-based marketing automations.

Integration Development

• Integrate D365 Marketing with:

Technical Design & Governance

• Participate in solution design workshops.
• Produce Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and governance standards.
• Support environment strategy and release management processes.

Support & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot campaign, journey and integration issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Support production deployments and post-production monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance to business users and marketing teams.
