Zensar Technologies Limited is looking for a seasoned Business Central Developer (5-10 years experience) to create and extend AL-based objects, build matrix and dashboard pages, manage data exchanges, and integrate BC with external systems. The role involves end-to-end development, testing, deployment, and collaboration with functional teams, with optional Power BI and Azure DevOps expertise.
  • Develop and customize Business Central objects (tables, pages, codeunits, queries, reports) using AL.
  • Design matrix pages, dashboards, and complex UI components to meet business requirements.
  • Create codeunits for processing Excel/CSV files and handling data transformations.
  • Implement data exchange mechanisms via FTP, Azure Blob Storage, and other external sources.
  • Develop RDLC and Word-based reports and ensure seamless integration with BC functionality.
  • Build integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and EDI.
  • Write unit tests, perform debugging, and ensure high-quality, performance-optimized solutions.
  • Manage version control, branching, and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Coordinate deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Document technical designs, integration flows, and maintain knowledge-base artifacts.
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Proficiency in AL code development and object debugging.
  • Strong experience creating matrix pages, dashboards, and complex UI elements.
  • Hands-on knowledge of data exchange via FTP, Azure Blob Storage, and file processing.
  • Experience building and customizing reports (RDLC, Word) within Business Central.
  • Ability to implement integrations using REST/SOAP web services and EDI.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good understanding of Power BI for reporting (optional but advantageous).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams.
