Application Engineer

Your tasks

• Support design, validation and release of inflator versions in accordance with customer specifications.
• Introduce and control product changes in regards design and performance in the change management system.
• Use of engineering tools such as fault tree analysis, DFMEA, statistical analysis, root cause analysis and margin testing.
• Application of Six Sigma tools in support of engineering efficiency and production process improvement projects.
• Responsible for planning and tracking prototype builds to assure on-time delivery to customers.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).
• CAD and design experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese language.
• Working knowledge of basic statistics (Minitab), MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in team environment
• Knowledge in German is preferred.
