Senior DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role.
• Cloud Proficiency: Solid experience with AWS or GCP services, including data-specific services like Kinesis, Glue, or Pub/Sub.
• Containerisation: Hands-on experience managing workloads on Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) in production or staging environments.
• IaC Skills: Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Experience maintaining pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting: Solid programming skills in Python for automation and operational tooling.
• Monitoring: Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Foundational SRE: A good understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
• AI Productivity: Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools (e. g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude) to improve efficiency in coding, debugging, and automation tasks.
• Team Player: A self-motivated approach with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
• SRE Leadership: Strong understanding of SRE principles, including performance monitoring, incident response, and reliability engineering.
• Strategic Thinking: Experience with cost optimisation strategies for cloud infrastructure and a strong ability to influence and drive changes across multiple teams.
• Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment and support multiple teams.
