Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
  • Strong experience with Node.js (NestJS). Java (Spring Boot) is a plus.
  • Experience building integrations with CRM or MAP platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Familiarity with no-code/low-code integration platforms (e. g., Fivetran, Zapier, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of authentication and authorisation protocols, including OAuth 2.0 OIDC, SAML, and JWT.
  • Experience with third-party API patterns: rate limiting, pagination, error handling, and data transformation pipelines.
  • Proficiency with MongoDB and comfort working across relational and NoSQL data stores.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful and webhook-based APIs with a strong grasp of versioning, reliability, and backward compatibility.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns, cloud platforms, databases, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Proven experience with performance optimisation, security best practices, and scalable system design.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code and conduct effective code reviews.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex technical issues and implement robust solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD practices.
