Global Data Product Owner

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Global Data Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, development, and end-to-end lifecycle of an enterprise-scale global data product.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in product management, data platforms, data integration, data governance, and analytics.
The candidate will collaborate with global business stakeholders, engineering teams, data providers, and technology vendors to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business objectives.
- Own and manage the product backlog, including business requirements, enhancements, data onboarding, and technical improvements.
- Translate complex business requirements into product features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of data products, including data acquisition, integration, harmonization, quality, and consumption.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data platform, and delivery teams to ensure scalable product development.
- Drive data quality, governance, completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and usability.
- Manage relationships with external data providers, technology vendors, and system integrators.
- Define and monitor product KPIs, including data quality, adoption, availability, delivery, cost efficiency, and business value.
- Drive product adoption by engaging business stakeholders and understanding their requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation, AI, advanced analytics, and continuous product improvement.
- Lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 12+ years of overall professional experience across Digital, Data, Analytics, Technology, Product Management, or Consulting.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership.
- Proven experience managing product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Strong experience with enterprise-scale data products and data-driven solutions.
- Experience with market data, syndicated data, sell-out/POS data, consumer insights, or commercial analytics.
- Strong understanding of data platforms, data integration, data governance, data quality, and analytics ecosystems.
- Experience working with global and multi-market organizations.
- Experience managing technology vendors, data providers, system integrators, and commercial partners.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or other data-intensive industries.
- Exposure to market data providers such as IQVIA, Circana, NielsenIQ, or similar syndicated data providers.
- Knowledge of modern data platforms and technologies including Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP, APIs, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, and BI/Analytics platforms.
- Exposure to AI, automation, and advanced analytics in data products.
- Certifications in Product Management, Data Management, Data Governance, Agile/Scrum, Cloud, or Analytics.
