Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team. This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany, reporting to the Sales Development Manager in the Sales and Go-to-Market department. The Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team is a global group of professionals passionate about delighting customers, nurturing trusted partnerships, and sharing expertise to drive a secure, cloud-enabled digital future. This role is crucial in further cementing our position as the world leader in cloud security by actively engaging and qualifying prospective clients.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

• Research and prospect into organisations by email, calling, networking, and creative means to guide early-stage pipelines
• Profile, qualify, and schedule well-qualified appointments with key decision-makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies
• Work closely with sales and sales engineering teams in the development of strategic sales approaches
• Research customers, identify decision-makers, educate prospects, and qualify buying interest
• Use a CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information for all customers and prospects

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain
• 1+ year of experience working in a sales position or similar role
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning and leveraging technology solutions
• Business fluency in German

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience leveraging AI-powered sales engagement platforms, predictive prospecting tools, or CRM automation to accelerate lead qualification and pipeline generation
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding appointment-setting and prospecting targets within the enterprise technology space
• Meticulous and organized approach to strategic account research, multi-channel outreach, and data management

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for this position across all Germany locations. Individual pay placement within this range is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including job-related skills, relevant experience, and education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) and benefits.

Base Pay Range

€50.000—€52.000 EUR
