Madrid, Spain - Full Time

SpotLIGHT of the job

As a Lighting Design Intern you will support the development of innovative lighting solutions for a wide range of projects, including office, education, retail, logistics, and outdoor applications.

Working alongside experienced lighting designers, you will gain hands-on experience in creating lighting concepts, preparing technical designs, and supporting projects from the initial idea through to implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your technical and creative skills within an international and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of lighting concepts and technical designs based on customer and project requirements
• Assist in creating lighting layouts, visualizations, and control system schematics
• Work with design tools such as AutoCAD, DIALux, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop
• Support the selection of lighting fixtures and technologies to meet functional and aesthetic goals
• Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant standards and sustainability requirements
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations, proposals, and mood boards
• Collaborate with internal teams on lighting projects across different market segments
• Stay up to date with lighting trends, technologies, and industry best practices

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of lighting design software
• Understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and control systems
• Creative mindset combined with strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work in a team environment
