Bangalore or Delhi, India

SpotLIGHT of the job

We are looking for a Technical Support professional to join our team in India, based in Bangalore or Delhi.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone at an early stage of their career who has a technical background, strong communication skills and an interest in lighting and project-based solutions.

Working closely with our sales team, you will provide day-to-day technical and project support, helping with specifications, technical submittals, quotations and order management. You will also interact with customers and gain valuable experience across the full project sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical and project support to the sales team.
• Review project specifications and help identify suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare and coordinate technical submittals, quotations and project documentation.
• Support the management of customer orders from initial enquiry through to order processing.
• Respond to customer technical queries and provide accurate product and project information.
• Work closely with the sales team to support opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop an understanding of the project sales process and key stakeholders, including Architects, Consultants and Contractors.
• Build positive relationships with customers and internal teams to support successful project delivery.

Skills & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree, ideally in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• Around 2-3 years' experience in a technical, customer-facing or project-support environment.
• Some previous exposure to B2B sales or a technical/project-led environment would be advantageous.
• Good technical understanding with the ability to interpret specifications and customer requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• A proactive, organised and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Comfortable using SAP and Microsoft applications.
• Fluent English communication skills.
