301 INC is the venture capital and disruptive innovation arm of General Mills, investing in emerging food and consumer brands. It takes minority stakes in fast-growing packaged food and beverage startups and gives them access to the scale, supply chain and marketing expertise of General Mills, with portfolio brands including Kite Hill, Rhythm Superfoods and Good Culture. The unit was launched in 2015 and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where General Mills has its headquarters.
