Overview
Applied Research Associates (ARA) is an employee-owned research and engineering company headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, working in national security, infrastructure, health solutions, and energy and environment. Founded in 1979, it provides modeling and simulation, systems engineering, physical testing, rapid prototyping, digital modernization and training, largely for US defense and federal customers, from offices including Raleigh, Indian Head, Vicksburg and Arlington. It hires mechanical, robotics and software engineers, WMD and open-source analysts, engineering technicians, environmental scientists and student interns.
