Overview
Bessemer Venture Partners is an American venture capital firm whose origins lie in the family office established from Andrew Carnegie's steel fortune in 1911, making it one of the oldest venture firms in existence. It invests across enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, healthcare, consumer and financial technology from seed through growth stages, and it is known for publishing its investment theses openly, including an anti-portfolio page listing the companies it famously declined. Headquartered in San Francisco with offices across the United States, Europe, India and Israel, it manages several billion dollars and has backed Shopify, LinkedIn, Twilio and Pinterest among many others.
