Overview
Censys is an internet intelligence and attack surface management company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and founded in 2017 out of research at the University of Michigan. The company continuously scans the public internet, fingerprinting hosts, certificates, and services to build a searchable map of exposed infrastructure. It sells that data to enterprise security teams, threat intelligence analysts, and government agencies tracking exposure and adversary infrastructure.
