Overview

DJI is a Chinese technology company founded in Shenzhen in 2006 by Frank Wang while he was a university student, and it dominates the global civilian drone market with a share estimated above seventy per cent. Its consumer and professional aircraft, including the Mavic, Air, Mini and Inspire lines, combined vertically integrated flight controllers, gimbals and camera systems to make aerial photography accessible to non-specialists.
