Ema is an enterprise agentic AI company based in Mountain View, California, that builds a Universal AI Employee platform of AI agents automating routine work in HR, IT, payroll and finance. Founded in California in February 2023 by former Google, Coinbase, Flipkart and Okta executives led by CEO Surojit Chatterjee, it has raised over 90 million US dollars from Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32 and others, and has offices in Bengaluru, London and Vancouver. It hires machine learning, full-stack, backend, platform and site reliability engineers, AI strategists, product managers, forward deployed builders, partner managers and sales staff.
