Overview

HongShan is a China-focused investment firm that backs companies from seed and venture stages through growth and later-stage rounds. It invests across technology, healthcare, consumer and industrial sectors, supporting founders in mainland China and Asia with long-term capital and operating support. Originally established in 2005 as Sequoia Capital China, the firm separated from Sequoia and adopted the HongShan name, and it is led by founding managing partner Neil Shen.
