Overview
Hypersonica is a European defence and aerospace company developing hypersonic strike systems and related technologies for military and civilian applications, headquartered in Munich with a second base in London. Founded in 2023 by University of Oxford PhDs Marc Ewenz and Philipp Kerth and operating as Hypersonica GmbH, it has tested what it describes as a sovereign European hypersonic missile prototype and is scaling up engineering and production in Germany and the UK. It hires power electronics, FPGA, avionics, GNC, AIT, propulsion process and manufacturing engineers, plus quality, supply chain, buying and programme management staff.
