Irving, Limited is a privately owned Canadian conglomerate headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, with businesses in forestry and forest products, shipbuilding and industrial fabrication, transportation and logistics, consumer products, food, agriculture, retail and construction equipment. Founded in 1882 and part of the Irving family group of companies, it employs more than 20,000 people in Canada and the United States through subsidiaries such as Irving Shipbuilding, Irving Tissue, Cavendish Farms, Kent Building Supplies and its railways.
