Overview
Metropolis Technologies is an American artificial intelligence company headquartered in Santa Monica, California, using computer vision to run checkout-free, drive-in drive-out parking for members and property owners. Founded in 2017, it became the largest parking operator in North America after acquiring SP Plus in 2024, and its platform now extends from parking into aviation, security and other physical venues, backed by more than one billion dollars in financing. It hires AI and software engineers, product managers, business development and partner success directors, account executives, finance and accounting staff, corporate counsel and operations leaders.
