Overview
NBN Co is the Australian government-owned company that built and operates the National Broadband Network, the country's wholesale open-access data network. It sells access to retail service providers rather than directly to households, delivering connections over fibre to the premises, fibre to the node and curb, hybrid fibre coaxial cable, fixed wireless and satellite to almost every address in Australia. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Sydney, it employs network and security engineers, customer field technicians and regional engagement staff in every state and territory.
