Overview
QuEra Computing builds quantum computers based on neutral atoms, using arrays of individually controlled Rydberg atoms held in optical traps. Its machines are offered through cloud platforms and on-premises installations for research centres, high-performance computing sites, government bodies and enterprises, alongside application co-design work and open-source tools for simulating atom arrays and optimisation problems. Founded in 2018 on research from Harvard and MIT and headquartered in Boston, the company hires physicists, hardware, optics and software engineers, product managers and finance staff.
