Overview
Seltz builds a web knowledge API that gives AI agents fresh, citable and structured information from the live web. It owns its full search stack, from the crawler and knowledge extraction to the index, retrieval models and ranking, crawls hundreds of millions of pages a day, scores individual passages instead of returning whole pages and answers in under 200 milliseconds. Founded in October 2025 by information retrieval researcher Antonio Mallia, formerly of Amazon AGI, Pinecone and Bloomberg, it raised a $12.5 million seed round led by Speedinvest and B Capital in June 2026.
