Overview
Linkup builds a web search API for AI that returns extracted, structured information to LLMs and autonomous agents instead of links meant for human readers. It offers sub-second endpoints such as /fast and /flash, a deep search mode, content partnerships with premium sources, and SPARSEUP, an open-source sparse embedding model. Founded in Paris in 2024 by alumni of Lyft, Spotify and McKinsey, it serves customers such as KPMG, McKinsey, SNCF and Cohere and raised a €3 million pre-seed in 2024 and a $10 million seed round led by Gradient in 2026.
