Shizen Energy develops, builds and operates utility-scale and distributed renewable energy power plants and projects in Japan and internationally. The company provides a self-developed energy management system and offers microgrids capable of islanded operation, virtual power plant (VPP) aggregation for coordinated control of distributed resources, and smart EV charging and discharging services. As of 2023 the Shizen Energy Group had been involved in over 1 GW of renewable generation and in 2022 raised ¥74.4 billion from investors to accelerate its growth toward 100% renewable energy.
