Overview
TerraPower is a nuclear technology company headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, developing the Natrium sodium-cooled fast reactor with molten salt energy storage and producing medical radioisotopes through its TerraPower Isotopes division. Founded in 2006 with Bill Gates as chairman, it is building its first 345 MWe Natrium plant near Kemmerer in Wyoming and supplies actinium-225 for targeted alpha cancer therapies. It hires reactor and systems engineers, senior reactor operator candidates, quality assurance and control specialists, project managers and schedulers, finance, contracts and payroll staff, and training and simulation engineers.
