THORChain is a decentralised cross-chain liquidity network launched after development began in 2018. It allows native asset swaps between chains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Cosmos without wrapped tokens or centralised custody. The network is secured by bonded validators who hold collateral against the pooled assets they safeguard.
