Overview
TIER IV is a Japanese autonomous driving technology company headquartered in Tokyo and the primary developer of Autoware, the open-source software stack for self-driving vehicles. Founded in 2015, it provides Autoware-based products, development and deployment services and mobility solutions to automotive makers, mobility operators, construction machinery makers, researchers and public-sector partners in Japan and abroad, and it helped set up The Autoware Foundation. It hires autonomous driving software, planning and control, sensing and integration engineers, backend and cloud engineers, SoC hardware and security specialists, QA and test engineers and project and product managers.
