Overview

Vistra is an integrated retail electricity and power generation company headquartered in Irving, Texas, operating natural gas, nuclear, coal, solar and battery storage plants and selling power through retail brands such as TXU Energy. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it has about 44,000 megawatts of generating capacity, runs the second-largest competitive nuclear fleet in the US, including Comanche Peak, Davis-Besse and Perry, and serves about 5 million retail customers. It hires power plant operators and technicians, reactor operators in training, nuclear instructors, electricians, instrument and control technicians, engineers and accounting and audit staff.
