We are looking for an experienced Capacity & Performance Management Engineer to monitor, analyze, and optimize enterprise infrastructure performance across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in capacity planning, infrastructure performance monitoring, virtualization, Linux/Windows administration, and observability tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, utilization trends, and system health across enterprise environments.
- Perform capacity planning, forecasting, and resource optimization to ensure infrastructure scalability and availability.
- Monitor and optimize Linux, Windows Server, VMware, and OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend proactive optimization strategies.
- Troubleshoot performance-related incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to provide insights into infrastructure performance and capacity utilization.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Operations teams to optimize system performance.
- Support incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL best practices.
- Automate performance monitoring and reporting using scripting where applicable.
- Maintain documentation, capacity models, operational runbooks, and performance baselines.
Required Skills:
- 7-12 years of experience in Capacity & Performance Management or Infrastructure Operations.
- Strong expertise in capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
- Hands-on experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware ESX/ESXi.
- Experience monitoring OpenShift, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Telegraf, InfluxDB, Prometheus, or equivalent.
- Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
